The fun gets astronomical in December and January when kids explore the mystery and magic of the night skies, constellations and stars. It's cosmic, inter-galactic “Super Stars” fun! Join us for otherworldly play and sparkly night sky art-making activities inspired by the Mystical Landscapes: Masterpieces from Monet, Van Gogh and more.
Family Sunday and Hands-On activities include creating our own intergalactic world of cosmic pets, extraterrestrials, spaceships, shooting stars, undiscovered planets...and more! Make sky viewers and constellation books, and play with things that twirl and whirl and swirl...it's out of this world fun.
Pop Up Planetarium – Coming Soon!! . Families can also get interactive with a 30 minute visit to the “pop-up planetarium” in our Gallery School. The Pop-Up Planetarium is presented in partnership by the University of Toronto from December 26, 2016 – January 8, 2017, 11:00 am – 3:00 p.m. daily. Join us afterwards to create a galaxy of imaginary planets, stars and extraterrestrial forms. Tickets available at www.ago.net on November 21.
