Art education for social responsibility emphasizes the use of dialogue and the making of visual and media artworks to promote equity and justice, and to resist discrimination based on race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, age, ethnicity or ability. Explore creative actions and critical advocacy aimed at understanding art for social justice via artists in the AGO’s collection. An opportunity to see the special exhibition Ai Weiwei: According to What? will be offered after this workshop for an additional surcharge.

Registration is limited to 20 participants per workshop. A minimum number of participants are required for programs to run. Additional workshops can be scheduled if needed.
