Theme Days

Theme days are held each Thursday. These are days full of camp-wide activities planned by the counseling staff and do not require advance preparation by campers from home. Campers are encouraged to participate in the theme day programming. Find details about specific theme days in the weekly newsletter.

Splash Pad Fun!

All camp groups will have access once during their session to the newly designed splash pad in Grange Park, located just behind the AGO. The schedule will be shared with you prior to the start of your campers session.

Groups will take a short walk to the park accompanied and supervised by their Counselor, Assistant Counselors, a Lead staff member, with AGO Protection Services oversight. Please inform your Counselor in advance in writing if your child will not be participating in splash pad play. Permission forms will be sent out prior to the session.

Campers who will be participating must bring a bathing suit, a towel, and an extra bag in which they can bring back wet suits/clothes. Campers who will not be participating will sit in seats alongside the pad.

On the final Friday afternoon of each session, campers put on an exhibition of their work in the studio. Parents, friends, and family are invited from 3:30 to 4:00 P.M. to view the work and meet with their campers' Instructor. Please make sure to bring a box or bag so that, once the exhibition is over, you can carry home all of your child’s amazing artwork. Supervision will be provided for campers who do not have family members visiting, and regular extended care procedures will apply.

Pizza Day

New this year!

On the FIRST DAY of every week (including the first day of camp), there is an optional camp wide Pizza lunch.  Pizza is cheese and tomato sauce only. Unfortunately we CANNOT place any special orders.

  • No additional cost
  • No form to fill out

You will be asked on the camp registration form if your child will be participating in Pizza Day.

If you choose YES:

  • Camper will receive a maximum of 2 slices of pizza, plus juice. You can send additional food or snacks if you wish.

If you choose NO:

  • Please provide a bag lunch on Pizza Day, which is the FIRST DAY of every week.
