Two girls printmaking

It's an unforgettable day camp experience!

This summer we’re doing what we do best – making art, playing and having fun! Join us for a fun-filled, creative summer inspired by the exhibition Lawren Harris: The Idea of North. Campers explore our city, its past, present and future, its people and places, neighbourhoods and underworlds. Journey to Canada’s north, through bold landscapes, making connections with  the land, its’ First Peoples and their arts and culture.

Be part of this innovative day camp that encourages exciting connections between art, culture, and ideas ! All camps provide access to the AGO's expanded galleries and enhanced collections that helps campers EXPLORE, IMAGINE and CREATE. Using original works of art in our collections as inspiration, campers create amazing art projects with a focus on contemporary art-making practice, using a wide variety of media and techniques.

We offer an exceptional environment for learning that helps campers EXPLORE, IMAGINE and CREATE. Full-day programs emphasize self expression and allow young artists to discover and play.

*All camps include a visit to the special exhibition The Idea of North: The Paintings of Lawren Harris

In addition to excellent programming, campers will enjoy:

  • Swimming (2-week camps only)

  • Pizza Day

  • Recreational activities/active outdoor play

  • Camp-wide games
