Children’s Programs
AGO Children and Family Programs create an environment that is creative, non-competitive and open-ended, allowing young artist’s the freedom to explore their own potential and nurture their self-esteem, while building a strong repertoire of techniques and skills. These courses and workshops are further enriched by regular visits to the galleries and collections of the AGO, providing an exceptional opportunity for learning and creativity. Class or workshop size is limited to keep instructor to student ratios low.
The Spring 2012 Semester begins March 31st. Programs go on sale in mid-February.
*Just a reminder to winter class students, NO classes are scheduled for the Family Day weekend, Saturday February 18th and Sunday February 19th. Regular classes resume the following weekend.

What to do after you drop your child off?
Stay with us and while they are having fun in their art class, for a small, extra fee you can take part in your own fun activity. De-stress in a yoga session in the Weston Family Learning Centre overlooking Beverly Street- purely relaxation! All using your pre-purchased discount card!

If you’re bringing siblings too young for our classes, spend quality time with the littlest ones in our brand new Hands-On Centre. Or simply chill out in our waiting area and catch up on your email or Facebook page - we’re wireless!

Explore ideas about space and what that means in art-making. Go 2-D to 3-D!
Ne0 craft/ ne0 fun (Spring 2012)
Where craft meets art. It's a world of materials! We explore all kinds of traditional and not so traditional processes
Side by Side - Little Kids, Big kids (Spring 2012, 5 and 10 weeks)
We offer parents, grandparents or caregivers the chance to discover art through a playful, fun process, side by side with their young artist
Cartooning (Spring 2012)
Old school is still cool! Who needs computers? In this course we celebrate the old school cartooning ways
