Let us know your desired focus for exploring the AGO and we will create a thematic guided gallery visit customized to your needs utilizing works of art that are on view the day of your visit, student-centred questioning strategies, and fun, interactive activities. The AGO collection supports broad thematic connections through the following:
- Historical and contemporary Canadian art including First Nations and Inuit art
- Contemporary art from around the world
- Historical European art
- Sculptural and figural works from west and central Africa
- Works on paper including Photography, Prints and Drawings
- Special exhibitions
School programs run October 4, 2011 to June 27, 2012:
- Available Tuesday – Friday
- Half-day programs are 90 minutes. Combine two half-day programs for a full-day experience (lunch break in-between).
- Morning programs run from 10:00 – 11:30 am and 10:30 am – 12:00 pm
- Afternoon programs run from 12:30 – 2:00 pm and 1:00 – 2:30 pm
- Advanced booking is required. Please select your preferred time slot at time of booking.
