Policies

Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis and is limited to space restrictions. Advance registration is recommended for all programs. Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of payment. All registration is subject to availability. All programs, prices and instructors are subject to change without notice.

Withdrawals & Refunds

To request withdrawal from a course, you must call the Program Registration office at 416-979-6608, Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Cancellations must be received at least one day prior to the start of a course. Absence from classes does not constitute notice of withdrawal. Withdrawals occurring less than two weeks prior to the start of a course are subject to a $30 administration fee. Students withdrawing after courses start will be issued a prorated refund and a $30 administration fee. No refunds will be issued after the fourth week of classes. The AGO reserves the right to cancel programs; in the event of cancellations, a full refund will be given.

Transfers

Course transfers are subject to availability. Students requesting a transfer less than two weeks prior to the start of their course, or once classes have started, are subject to a $30 administration fee. Transfers are authorized by the Program Registration office ONLY.

Cancellation of Classes

To ensure that we are able to run your preferred classes, we recommend that you enroll at least two weeks prior to the commencement of the program. In the event of course cancellation, registrants will be notified one week prior to the scheduled commencement of the course and a full refund will be given.

Weather/Cancellation Information Line

Please call 416-979-6660 ext. 368 to confirm classes in the event of inclement weather. Students will not be contacted when the school is closed due to weather. Every effort to provide make-up classes will be made but cannot be guaranteed. Refunds will not be given in these rare cases.

Send a signed written request with the name of the student, address, phone number, credit card information (card name, card number, your name, expiry date) and course and date selection(s) to 416-204-2717. Please note: Registration is not confirmed until you have received written notification from the AGO Program Registration office. Members must provide their membership number in order to process requests.

Visit the AGO Program Registration office at 60 McCaul Street, the location of our new gallery school, during Transformation AGO.
