Is the AGO baby friendly?
Yes. Babies are very welcome in the Gallery and we also have activities for children aged one year and up.
Are baby strollers allowed in the galleries?
Yes.
Is there a size restriction with baby strollers?
We are unable to accommodate double-wide strollers or strollers with extra large wheels.
Are baby stroller’s available for rental?
Yes. You can rent a stroller free of charge from the coat check.
Can I feed my baby in the gallery?
Nursing is permitted in all of the Gallery’s seating areas. There is also some more private seating in the foyer of the women’s bathroom near the Thomson Collection of Ship Models
Where can I change my baby?
There are baby changing stations located in all public washrooms.
Can I take diaper bags into the galleries on a stroller?
Yes, please store them underneath the carrier on the handle bars. Please don’t carry them on your back.
Are baby slings/carriers allowed?
Yes as long as they worn on the front of your body not on your back
Can my kids eat at the AGO?
Yes. Our café has child-friendly food and our restaurant, Frank, is happy to accommodate requests for young guests. Both have special Gehry-designed booster chairs for young children.
