Figurative Photography (Spring)

Using current AGO exhibitions as reference, explore how gesture, costume, props and setting support the artist’s use of the human image, and the technical and artistic effects of lighting and camera control. Introduction to photography or other previous photography courses recommended.
Please note: There will be no class on Monday May 20.
Although students may be introduced to darkroom and alternative printing techniques, they will not be practiced in these studio-based courses. Students are responsible for providing their own 35mm SLR camera, film and film processing. Students who prefer to use digital cameras will be required to learn the specific functions of their cameras independently.
