As a part of our exclusive group of Foundation donors, Foundation Benefactors receive valuable customized services and privileges, including consultations with our curatorial staff and an individual Curators' Circle membership, extended to your President or Director, which provides an opportunity to learn more about art while sharing the company of other key members of the community.
Foundation Benefactors are entitled to the following benefits:
- Curators' Circle: Your Foundation's President or Director will become an honourary member of the Curators' Circle for one year. Established to recognize the generosity of the Gallery's major individual donors, the Curators' Circle organizes private tours of exhibitions, lectures and an annual dinner for Curators’ Circle members only.
- Curatorial Consultations: Foundation Partners may schedule a consultation with a curatorial staff member for advice in forming and developing corporate or individual art collections.
- Membership Cards: A total of eight Foundation Membership cards granting the cardholder unlimited general Gallery admission for one year.
- Guest Passes: A total of 50 complimentary guest passes for general Gallery admission, to distribute to your employees or associates.
In addition, your foundation will receive all the privileges of previous levels of foundation membership, including:
- Art Rental And Sales Gallery Privileges: Foundation Members can rent art from a selection of hundreds of outstanding original works of art by Canadian contemporary artists in our Art Rental and Sales Gallery. Members also have access to our personalized Art Rental consulting service.
- Members' Previews: Foundation Members are invited to special Members' exhibition previews and events throughout the year.
- Members' Discounts: Foundation Members receive discounts on selected programs and services, including lectures, films and Gallery School courses, as well as on selected merchandise in shop AGO and on our Gift Service.
- Museum Publications: Foundation Members receive our quarterly Members' newsletter, Art Matters, to stay informed of upcoming exhibitions and events.
- Annual Recognition Event: A special event will be held annually to recognize Foundation Members. Foundation Associates will also receive special invitations to previews and donor events.
- Reciprocal Membership: Foundation Associates are entitled to free admission at several leading art museums across North America.
- Acknowledgement on Annual Donor Wall: Foundation Associates will be acknowledged on the Gallery's Annual Donor Wall.
- Public Recognition: As a Foundation Friend, your Foundation will be listed in our annual report, which is distributed to all our major donors, and on the AGO website, www.ago.net.
- Receipt: Your Foundation will receive a letter of receipt.
