FREE AFTER THREE YOUTH WEEKLY ACTIVITIES

The AGO's FREE After Three programming is the place to be for youth ages 14 to 25. Participate in tie dying, sticker making, silk screening, skateboard building, mix tape making, movie screenings and break-dancing workshops. D.I.Y Days is a 10 week workshop lead by amazing local artists leading workshops in zine making, tie dying, silk screening, and more! Come and bring friends! Free!

House Dance Sessions with Warehouse Jacks

Wednesdays Sept. 14- Oct. 19, 2016

In response to Theastre Gate's exhibition “How to Build a House Museum”, which celebrates house music pioneer Frankie Knuckles, we have programmed house dance workshops led by the local house dance crew Warehouse Jacks. Pop up D.Js will accompany some of the sessions.

Bust a move and break it down! Learn the 101s of break-dancing in a safe and supportive atmosphere — beginners welcome! Led by Unity Charity.

Intro to D.Jing with UforChange

Thursdays Sept. 15 – Nov. 3, 2016 

This 8 week workshop created in partnership with UforChange and inspired by the Theastre Gates exhibition “How to Build a House Museum”, introduces youth to D.Jing with vinyl and a laptop.The final week ends with a dance party! Up to 30 youth per week! First come first serve.

All FREE After Three activities take place in the Weston Family Learning Centre (WFLC).
Access to the WFLC is TOTALLY FREE! No need to purchase entrance to the Gallery.
There's also a Cafe to eat at and FREE wifi to use.

Attention all High School students! Did you know you can visit the Gallery for FREE after 3 pm Tuesday to Friday. Simply present a valid student ID at the ticket desk.
