This Month

AGO Friday Nights in October focus on the landmark exhibition Toronto: Tributes + Tributaries, 1971-1989

A celebration of the voice that opens the exhibition on the fourth floor in AGO’s Contemporary Tower, legendary dub poet Lillian Allen has guest-curated a four week series of poetry, music and spoken word in Walker Court.

Each week you will have an opportunity to experience artists who worked during the period the exhibition covers through to today as part of a unique series of performances that are sure to revitalize the spirit of poetry in the gallery setting. The final Friday will see Lillian Allen herself taking the stage with her Revolutionary Tea Party Band as part of Toronto: Tributes + Tributaries PERFORMANCE series.
