With a permanent collection of more than 73,000 works of art spanning more than 11,000 years, the Art Gallery of Ontario is among the most distinguished art museums in North America. In 2002, the Gallery began a dramatic new chapter in its 110-year history when it launched the ambitious Transformation AGO expansion project.
