Introduction to Printmaking

Create a wide range of images using traditional and contemporary printmaking techniques. In this course suited for beginners, we will use a large format lithography press for collagraphs, dry point and abstract monoprinting. Relief printmaking using styrofoam and softoleum, monoprints on plexiglass and silkscreen printing will be explored as well.
All inks and basic materials are included in the course fee. If students want to work in larger formats they are responsible for purchasing their own printing plates and papers.
Please note there are no classes on April 21 or May 19.
