This online teacher resource will provide you with a variety of lessons focusing on ancient Egyptian art and history based on the exhibition, King Tut: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs. This blockbuster touring exhibition is making its sole Canadian appearance at the Art Gallery of Ontario from November 24, 2009 to April 18, 2010.

Discover more than 100 treasures from the tomb of King Tutankhamun and other ancient sites, and explore how life and art evolved under various rulers spanning 2,000 years of ancient Egyptian history.

This teacher resource provides a variety of lessons and activities that you can do in your classroom. The lessons can be used to support your visit to King Tut: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs, or can stand alone as classroom activities. These resources are appropriate for students in grades 4-6 and grades 9-12.
