American photographer Larry Fink explores the social rites of the fashionable 'black tie' urban elite at stylish clubs and events, and the rural working class at home and at community-based celebrations. Photographed between 1974 and 1982, these 25 works from the permanent collection suggest a narrow gap between the two social groups.
