Laughter Yoga Workshops

Working from the premise that the body cannot distinguish between real or simulated laughter, laughter yoga combines laughter simulating exercises with deep breathing and simple yoga poses. Certified laughter coach Sue Bhanot will lead people through a series of exercises to experience the physical and emotional benefits of releasing tension.

These workshops are presented as part of Meera Margaret Singh's residency at the Art Gallery of Ontario. 

Sue Bhanot left a successful career in the corporate world to pursue her passion for yoga. She is a certified yoga teacher who has taught for over 10 years. Bhanot's interest in the healing aspects of yoga led her to laughter yoga. She is a Certified Laughter Leader and has led many workshops and retreats, teaching young and old the benefits of “laughing for no reason.”
