Hello Chantal,

Myself and a friend had a fantastic tour in The Grange. Sophia was so interesting and intriguing as she explained the story of Mary O’Shea. It sounds as if she had a mental health problem. Back then workers were exposed to lye, arsenic and lead. It could have been in small amounts which could have caused unusual behaviour. You should have some hair samples checked for this type of poisoning. What a fascinating and interesting story. Also so unusual how she suddenly disappeared.
