NEW! Online Workshops and Virtual Visits
Calling all Educators! Join us for our NEW Online Workshops and Virtual Visits!
Pre-service and in-service teachers can now connect with artists, AGO Educators and artwork through live online workshops! These workshops are designed to introduce teachers to exhibition themes, AGO collection areas, and exhibiting artists. Each workshop is geared towareds exploring, discussing, and creating art in the classroom. Log on from the comfort of your own home (we recommend a blue-cable ethernet connection for best results) and collaborate wtih other educators across the country using chat, polling, and other online features.
Our new virtual visits program offers teachers and students a chance to connect with AGO educators, view artwork, and discuss themes and big ideas presented in the work. Each virtual visit is connected to Ontario curriculum expectations, linked to specific grade levels and subject areas.
Click below for dates and times for upcoming workshops and virtual visits or access to previously recorded events. All online events take place in Eastern Standard Time.
