This virtual visit is designed to connect the AGO with elementary grades 4-6 classes on the topic of First Nations Peoples and European Explorers. Students and teachers can join us online to explore artwork, and the concept of cultural identity, representation, and stereotypes. Use this as a P.D. session, stand-alone session, or preview before attending your own on-site visit during the school year!
Smartboard, OR laptop with speakers and projector, along with a blue ethernet cable connected to high-speed internet. Students can also participate in a computer-lab setting.
Not sure of your classroom connection speed? Click HERE for a quick 4-step test.
*It is recommended that teachers attend the Virtual Visits Preview for Teachers online session for tips, best practices, helpful resources, and a preview of the featured works of art.
