Schools and Teachers

Discover Art. Explore Ideas.

There is so much to see and do at the AGO.

Programs for Students
Engage your students with art and ideas in our permanent collection of over 90,000 works of art and special exhibitions. Ignite your students’ critical thinking skills through cross-curricular guided tours that that encourage personal connections and explore relevant issues. Encourage students to express their creativity and to experiment with diverse materials and artistic processes in our hands- on and fun artmaking programs.

Programs for Teachers
The AGO offers teacher professional development workshops to inspire and enhance your knowledge and practice of art education with resources and materials to implement in your classroom. Connect with AGO educators and other elementary, secondary, and early childhood educators at events, workshops, a Summer Institute, and custom programs designed for experienced teachers and teachers-in-training to meet your professional development needs.

We look forward to seeing you and your students at the AGO!
