You're invited to join us for a celebration and preview of the AGO's spring season. Meet members of the AGO's Public Programming and Learning team and enjoy a special evening at the Gallery with your friends and colleagues.
Sophie Hackett, Associate Curator, Photography will provide an engaging talk about the special exhibition Outsiders: American Photography and Film 1950s-1980s, a captivating exhibition of American photography and film from the 1950s through the 1980s that explores how artists deployed their chosen media to reflect a more complex, more authentic and more diverse view of the world in which they had grown up. Kenneth Brummel, Assistant Curator of Modern Art will give an insider's look at the Pop Art exhibition's highlight, Claes Oldenburg's Floor Burger. Plus, enjoy light refreshments and FREE Gallery admission — which includes access to the specially ticketed exhibition Outsiders: American Photography and Film 1950s-1980s.
