Our Youth Studio courses, taught by experienced artist-instructors, are for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 who want to discover their creative voice, develop their range of technical skills, and explore materials in a supportive, challenging and fun environment. These courses are further enriched by frequent visits and connections to the collections and current exhibitions of the AGO, which provides an exceptional opportunity for learning and creativity. Courses focus on contemporary art-making processes with opportunity for both individual attention and interpretation of projects.
Integrated Studio Projects (Fall 2011- Spring 2012)
This intensive, 30-week studio course for youth aged 13 to 18 focuses on individual and group exploration of the creative process, skill building and portfolio development.
iDEA Lab (Fall 2011)
Sculpture, installation, printmaking, video, photography, mixed media and found materials, artist’s books and multiples are just some of the mediums/media we use to create awesome and uncommon works of art.
