Youth Courses & Workshops
Our Youth Studio courses, taught by experienced artist-instructors, are for youth between the ages of 13 and 18 who want to discover their creative voice, develop their range of technical skills, and explore materials in a supportive, challenging and fun environment. These courses are further enriched by frequent visits and connections to the collections and current exhibitions of the AGO, which provides an exceptional opportunity for learning and creativity. Courses focus on contemporary art-making processes with opportunity for both individual attention and interpretation of projects.
Integrated Studio Projects (Summer 2013)
This intensive, 8-week studio course for youth aged 13 to 18 focuses on individual and group exploration of the creative process, skill building and portfolio development.
Integrated Studio Projects (Fall 2012- Spring 2013, three 10 week sessions)
This series of intensive 10 week studio course modules for youth aged 13 to 18 focuses on individual and group exploration of the creative process, skill building and portfolio development.
Life Drawing ( Spring 2013)
Working with fully clothed life models and still life, students will explore the technical and perceptual skills needed to confidently produce drawings.
