Masterpiece Mash-up (Grades 3 – 8)
A “mash-up” is a combining or mixing of content from different sources to create something new. Inspired by an original work of art in the AGO collection, students will work collaboratively to create a painting or sculpture “mash-up”. Students will choose from a variety of traditional and non-traditional materials to paint or sculpt their own masterpiece to communicate their personal points of view, ideas, and experiences in response to the themes of our elementary guided visits.

Note: In an open studio environment, creativity can be a messy process! Please ask students to wear comfortable clothing that is easily washable. Aprons are not provided.
