Summer Institute for Educators 2018: Building Relationships in Education and Beyond

Tuesday, July 10 – Friday, July 13, 2018

This July, join educators from across Canada at the annual CSEA/AGO Summer Institute for Educators. We have four packed days of learning and conversation planned especially for you, exploring the theme of relationships through art!

This summer is alive with stunning exhibitions at the AGO including the major solo exhibition of Rebecca Belmore: Facing the Monumental; Tunirrusiangit: Kenojuak Ashevak and Tim Pitsiulak, and the opening of the J.S. McLean Centre for Indigenous and Canadian Art. We will also visit the McMichael Canadian Art Collection, the Gardiner Museum of ceramic art and various independent galleries in downtown Toronto.

To complement these visits, we also have days of sharing lesson plans, conversation, artmaking and time to enjoy the newly redesigned Grange Park. We hope to see you in the summer!

Join educators from across Canada this July at the annual CSEA/AGO Summer Institute for Art Educators. Registration will open in spring 2018. For more information, be sure to register for the AGO Educators Enewsletter.
