Using originals in the AGO collections as starting points, students embark on a journey through drawing. Classes will focus on developing drawing skills, allowing students to build a portfolio of gallery sketches. Daily demonstrations of techniques and concepts will be followed by exercises and opportunities to create sustained drawings. Both new and repeat students are welcome.
Students are asked to bring the following supplies: A 11X14" coil-bound sketchbook, a set of soft pencils (B through 9B, or one each of 2B, 4B, 6B, 8B), a knead-able eraser and a white vinyl eraser, a set of 24 watercolour pencils, a self-contained pencil sharpener.
