Three Films by Mark Lewis
September 9, 2009 – January 24, 2010
Three works by filmmaker Mark Lewis will be featured in the Gershon Iskowitz Prize Exhibition this fall at the AGO. The internationally acclaimed Lewis, winner of the inaugural Gershon Iskowitz Prize in 2007, represented Canada at this year’s prestigious Venice Biennale. His carefully composed films reflect a fundamental tension between the still and moving image, inviting the viewer to consider the constraints of cinema.
