EXCLUSIVELY FOR EDUCATORS!
In this online event educators join in a conversation with BAXTER& on the topic of Earth Day. The artist will discuss his work and its relationship to the environment, the notion of working together in a participatory environment, and his art making process. He will also share his thoughts on Earth Day and how educators and students can get involved, and engage educators with four participatory questions from the exhibition.
ABOUT IAIN BAXTER&
Baxter’s work encompasses photography, installation, sculpture, painting, drawing, and a performative aspect that seeks to challenge and redefine the role of the artist. Collaboration and contingency are central to Baxter’s working method. In 2005 he legally changed his name to IAIN BAXTER&, underscoring that all art transpires in relation to and in partnership with a viewer.
