Eloisa Slimmon-Weber has been practicing various forms of movement since she was a child from ballet to modern dance. Trained as a classical actor and dancer. She has been practicing Yoga since 1992 and teaching since 2005. Eloisa's practice is rooted in the tradition of Krishnamacharaya. Her wish is to provide students with more than a stretch class, but an opportunity to play, explore, discover and connect with themselves at the deepest level as a guide through their own journeys. She is the founder and director of Liberty Movement Yoga & Pilates studio in Liberty Village were she teaches daily classes, works as a doula and birth educator, recently wrote and produced YogaPals an interactive Yoga DVD for children. Eloisa Is the Mother to two beauty filled children, has a passion for teaching and is grateful for all the sukha (happiness) in her life!
HATHA FLOW: This class uses traditional Hatha Yoga postures in a sequence of movements that flow naturally from one to the next. This eclectic class will explore variations of sun salutations, standing and seated poses along with body balancing. Connecting the breath with the movement of the body during the “flow” of yoga and deepening into the “stretch” allows the body to release and provides relaxation for the busy mind. Modifications will be provided for postures to enhance flexibility, alignment, and strength and make this class accessible for all.
Entrance to the gallery is through the main doors.
Please note: there are no change room facilities at the gallery and that students are asked to bring their own yoga mat.
