Youth Council Archive
The AGO Council works collectively to initiate programming by youth for youth, including exhibitions, public art projects, large-scale events, field trips and much more. This is a hands-on, fast-paced program that gives participants a chance to work with local and international artists, advocates and activists on projects that reflect the concerns, interests and passions of people between the ages of 14 to 24. H.Y.P.E: Helping Young People Excel
December 2000. H.Y.P.E was aimed at demystifying Hip Hop culture and dispelling negative stereotypes by showing Hip Hop in a positive light.
Decked: An Exhibition of Skate Culture
September 2000. Decked: An Exhibition of Skate Culture was a one-day exploration of skate culture highlighting skateboarding as well as the many art forms that have emerged from skate culture.
