Mysteries of Tutankhamun Revealed: A Special One-Night-Only Event with Dr. Zahi Hawass

Dr. Hawass will discuss CT-scans of Tutankhamun's mummy that were obtained as part of the landmark Egyptian research and conservation project, partially funded by National Geographic. Dr. Hawass will also discuss the ongoing search for the mummy of Queen Nefertiti, and the discovery of KV63, the chamber recently found in the Valley of the Kings. Dr. Hawass will reveal new secrets discovered at the pyramids and detail his search for the tomb of Cleopatra and Mark Anthony.
Dr. Hawass is one of the world's foremost authorities on Egyptian archaeology and is known for his devotion and untiring efforts to promote and protect Egypt's cultural and archaeological heritage. World-renowned archaeologist Zahi Hawass currently serves as Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, and directs ongoing excavations at Giza, Saqqara, and in the Valley of the Kings. Dr. Hawass received his PhD in 1987 from the University of Pennsylvania, where he studied as a Fulbright Fellow. A book signing will follow his lecture.
