Print & Drawing Open House
Thursdays & Fridays, 5 to 8 pm
The Marvin Gelber Print and Drawing Centre offers a new Open House program on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5 to 8 pm. Starting September 8, AGO visitors can enjoy behind-the-scenes tours and “mini-exhibitions” in the centre.
This ambitious new venture will extend the gallery space into the Study Centre. Visitors can view prints, drawings and photographs on the tables in the Study Room. These “mini-exhibitions” will feature 10-15 works and would be shown for six-week periods.
To celebrate the 400th anniversary of Rembrandt's birth, see a selection of his remarkable etchings.

Print & Drawing Open Door
Wednesdays, 1 to 4 pm
The Marvin Gelber Print and Drawing Centre ’s Open Door program also continues on Wednesday afternoons from 1 to 4 pm, providing an opportunity for visitors to take a tour of the state-of-the-art Study Room, have a peek into the vault, and see some wonderful works on paper. Each week a different selection of works are on view – watercolours, drawings, prints or photographs – usually by a single well-known artist or group. Artists such as Henry Moore, Alex Colville, Henri Matisse and members of the Group of Seven have been featured recently.
Visitors to Open Door can also fill out a form and request specific works to be brought out of the vault for a personal viewing – a real bonus to visitors who enjoy getting a glimpse behind the scenes.
